    Shower or Bath?!?!?

Just asking this question as I've been getting lots of headaches, dizziness, blurred vision, numbness in my hands and other random head related issues.

Had an appointment with Neurologist yesterday to do few random simple tests.

Turns out I have muscle in my neck that is playing up. This muscle runs from middle of your back, up to your neck and into your brain.(So those mornings I wake up and my neck is bit sore isn't because I've been sleeping oddly lol )

So my problem is I've damaged the muscle some how and over last 2 years it has got smaller. Due to it being inflamed and sore etc. So I have been compensating that muscle by curving my shoulders/arching my back, given myself bad posture and the Doc notice this by doing simple test. Placed her hands on my shoulders and pushed down and told me to turn my head to the left, which I done fine. Then told me to turn my head to the right. Which I also done, but with doing this I compensated the muscle being shorter by lifting my left shoulder as I turned my head to the right.

So I will be going to the physio and I have also been told to use heat packs and to take hot baths as hot as I can possibly with stand, lying with only my head out of the water. So my back/neck are relaxing in the hot water.

Problem is I'm a shower man, Always showered for the last I don't know 7-10years. Took my first bath tonight for first time in years. It killed me lying in the hot water and was also very boring, not to mention it feels bit hard breathing when I just have my head out of water lol

    Story over.

Only have a shower in our house due to disabled brother being unable to get in and out of a bath.

I do miss having baths though.

Baths - To relax after playing sports/hard day at work etc

used to love long hot baths but now it's too painful for me to wash in a bath, showers are the only way. Unfortunately I don't have a shower in my flat (nor can I fit one due to insufficient water pressure - even a mixer tap won't work and I can't afford a pump) so I have to sit in the bath and use a small bucket to wash and it always hurts
