noise when turning right CV? pic

    Hi all!
Just got my new laptop sorted so im back on here more!!!

Ive recently noticed like a marble-ish sorta sound when i go round sharp rights or roundabouts... it sounds like theres a stone in the tyre but there isnt...

so i had a look under the car, and i noticed oiley grease on the drive shaft and on the wishbone...

Could this be the problem, if so what is involved, and can i drive it for now???

    many thanks

Is the driveshaft gaiter split, if it is the noise is the cv joint getting a bashing, if you're lucky you can get away with repacking with grease and a new gaiter, if not just avoid as much as poss full locks etc until you can replace it, rarely do they suddenly go bang, but it's not unknown to happen.

It doesnt look like its split, but it looks like its not on as far as the other side, perhaps its been seeping out, the wishbone there is only a couple of months old, and i recently had a front end smash up so perhaps the shock done it???

Its got 154k on the clocks, so im guessing its prob not economical to repack the grease anyways...

as long as i can drive it for a few weeks i guess!!

is it true they are sometimes a pain to get off? cause my friend said that if the circlip breaks he will have to take the driveshaft out
