    Coilover spring load

    Hi all,

Looking to replace the main spring and helper spring on my Raceland Coilovers with one spring as i'm getting a dirty bang everytime the helper spring fully compresses (which round here is every 5 seconds thanks to speed bumps and potholes).

I need to know what load rating/length of spring i would need to replace both springs with one...

    Cheers,
    Nick

could you not just try it without the helper springs ? if the ride is not too bad it would save all the hassel.

Yeah may give it a go, but i think ideally i'd be better off with slightly softer main springs and slightly harder helper springs, or may get away with just harder helper springs! hmmm..... lol

Sorry but I doubt anyone can help you with ratings on here as we did not make them.

You sure it is the spring not something else

I'm really not sure mate, all i can put it down to is the helper spring fully compressing and giving off the knock... Unless anyone can think of anything else i could look for??

    Cheers, Nick
