hi always i was thinking the weight is about 1360kg , i found this in my country web sites, bot now i found www.z20let.co.uk and there is 1270kg....so what is right? thx a lot for answer
does it really matter in all honesty??
The figures given by manufacturer's vary so much based on fluids, equipment levels (air con etc), only really way is to measure it yourself. Not hard, just find a weighbridge or tip and give them the fiver..
bcs i dont have turbo right now, but i 3 weeks i hope i will, just wanna know what have typical owner of turbo in papers ...
kerb weight of a coupe turbo is 1270kg
Castle Combe Saloon Car Championship. Car 21, pug 106 GTI. Gone from track days to full on racing
Since 1995 most vehicle manufacturers use European Directive 95/48/EC to arrive at a kerb weight... ie the car in ready to drive condition with the fuel tank 90% full, a driver on board weighing 68 kg and luggage of 7 kg.
That's what VX quote as being 1270kg
Ffoeg very interesting, I never would have imagined that kerb weight included driver and luggage.
It didn't used to be - it was just a car ready to go (all fluids and full tank of fuel), but without driver or luggage etc.
