Convertible Roof, How to restore the colour and clean?

    Hi Guys

This question has probably been asked before but could not find it in a search....

My MK4 Cabby has started to get patchy and grey on the roof.

I started using some cleaner from halfords about 2 months ago...

I did not find this was any good to be honest, and if anything made it worse.

Is there anything that can restore the 'black' in the roof?

Can't say I've had that problem. I've managed to get quite a bit on my paint work and after wiping it off with a damp cloth all was fine.

I'd suspect an underlying issue with your paint work.
