    Vauxhall paint

Anyone know how much spray cans and the sizes are that you can get from vauxhall dealerships please.
Not wanna get spray from halfords because of the bad write ups i have read on forums.
I heard something that HYCOTE are dealers in vaux paint.....is this true and how good is it.
    cheers all

Spray cans are tiny from Vauxhall
Cost about £7-£9 and you get 150ml of paint and 150ml of lacquer in a pack.

Try paints4u.com. Never used them myself, but loads of members recommend them

Im after a can of vaux paint too,
have a scuff on my bumper thats been bugging me for a while!
Do i have to get it from vauxhall or are there other places? looked on paints4u.com and they have a colour matchin service that requires you to send off a piece of your car for them to examine.
Anyway i think its star silver or lightning silver not sure which.

any help would be appreciated cheers

you dont need vaux paint for plastic bumpers. take your car to any good car shop and theyll look at your paint code and do you the right paint. you just need some primer and the paint and lacquer depending on the type of paint =) (not sure if you can do this with fancy metallic paint?? my car is just white so it may just be very easy for me.)

im doing mine today, photos up in a few hours, off to the shops to get more primer though

    Hello mate,

    http://www.paints4u.com/ProductDetai...ainselection=4

Then go to choose colour and you can enter the details of your car, and the colour code (on the pillar next to the driver's seat). Then select the colour and you're sorted!

    Hope this helps.

That is Star Silver. The only issue you are likely to come across is that there are 5 different shades of that particular colour. If you get it bang on then I'd be very surprised, you'll just have to keep your fingers crossed if you are matching it yourself.

Lightning silver is quite a bit darker than what you have, plus I don't believe it was available when your car was produced.
