    Cleaning rubber seals

Whats best to clean my rubber seal that goes round the bottom of my hood? It's drying up rapidly at the minute and this causes it to rattle like hell!!

I've been using furniture polish to soften up the seal and that works for a few days but thats it.

    HELP!!!!!!

Iv'e been using some AG bumper and trim restorer on my rubbers. Its ok for interior use, but doesn't make much difference on the outside.

You can use Megs endurance tyre dressing on rubbers, that should stop it from drying out.

cheers guys i'll try those. It's not an external rubber, it's just one that sits under the hood as it seals with the car.

How do you apply it? I find if trying to spray it, it goes everywhere. So just end up spraying it onto an applicator pad and wiping on lol.
