Need tyres again!! 5th pair in 1 year

This is really peeing me off now and yeah I know what you're gonna say put it on low boost mode or lift your heavy boot but sometimes I can't for want of a race lol..

I've had two pairs of Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3
    Goodyear Asymetric Eagle F1
    Bridgestone Potenza 050

Next will be the 5th pair in 1 year / 19k miles (gonna fry them on the strip first lol)

What can I get that'll be grippy but last longer, I've heard the Kuhmo Ecsta Sport are good (have them on the rear) but are they good enough for all my torque?? Gotta be 235 or 245 wide too lol

    Go away

Fingz I just like to boot it now and then lol, maybe an LSD would help put some power down but not that much, you wait till I give you a run you'll see why I get through them I have way too much torque for them, I think the GSD3s were the best yet though although didn't last long due to being a soft compound

Fair enough Chris I was just going off what g_man's lad Jamie had said he was using, I dunno whether to try some Michelins, Avons, some street legal slick or just go back to Goodyear??

I'd rather have cheap shit slicks and change them more often if they're gonna be good tyres - don't wanna slide everywhere in the wet lol as you said Fingz, the Bridgestones are hard but do grip well although they seem to give under hard cornering making you feel as though you're sliding but you're not, don't know if the walls are reinforced enough??

5 pairs in 19k miles . You must drive like a maniac

I normally get 8-10k out of a set, and that is with a fair amount of squeelage lol. I've used Kumho's in the past and thought they were pretty good, I know another member who is using them on his VXR (stage 1) and he is also pretty happy with them.
