    more bloody problems wi the coupe..

    P0106 Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Range/Performance Problem

    what the fudge is that all about?


    on way to ema-lou's today, and the car just didnt want to boost higher than 5psi...

    about 20 mins later tho it was fine!

    could this be down to the other issues im having the now? like low compression in engine and poss stem seals away.

    car feels underpower'd too

    could it be because o the fact i need to change the intercooler then?

    ist there just not fitted yet

    running 258BHP on standard intercooler ...

    That shouldn't be an issue, I was running 259bhp on standard cooler, unless intake temps were so high you melted the sensor lol.

    thats the issues im having m8.. i dunno if the inlet temps are causing the problems with the low compression? a dunno..

    sti;; trying to find out what the vauxhall stated compression is for these too..

    anyhoooooo

    is this correct for the car?


    dont seem to list the 2.0 turbos tho?

    The part number for the sensor that fits onto the intercooler is

    SENSOR, TEMPERATURE, AIR, TURBO INTERCOOLER - 93170309

    and

    SEAL, RING, SENSOR - 93170311

    Only thing is, i'm not sure if that sensor is the MAP sensor. I always thought it was, but might not be

    If its the one that is at the top of the U bend coming out of the OE intercooler then yes thats MAP

    It is on the pipe on the VXR setup

    Didn't it used to work out cheaper to buy the complete VXR boost pipe assembly (55560153?)complete with the MAP sensor included rather than just the sensor?
