    De-badged and holy bumpers batman!

After last weeks de-restrict mod i wanted to have a go at de-badging. The following was used.

    • Kettle of boiling water
    • White spirit
    • T-cut
    • old t-shirt
    • Auto glym SRP
    • Dental Floss

Pouring the water on the badge, i used the dental floss to saw off the badge and then fingernails picked off the sticky stuff and white spirit for the residue. T-cut the outlines and then a little SRP to finish it off.

The vauxhall badge was such a pain, but two kettles later and lots of white spirit and here's the result. The car is getting washed today so...

My other problem is that i backed into a bollard at work and done this to my rear bumper

Do you think its fixable? and could i do it myself?

Next thing on the list crosshatch grill with irmry badge and smoked rear and front lights. Oh and private plates

Anythings possible mate, to repair that would probably be to use plastic bumper filler and paint it, if your not confident in repairing it yourself, take it to your local crash and repair centre and you'll probably get a quote of around £100 to repair and paint it.

I have photoshopped a picture of the rear end with the de-badge done and tinted lights and it looks great, so thats my plan. Just need to get this bumper fixed cause there's no point in doing all this with a hole there
