    2.0di van intercooler

    does anyone know if i can fit a front mount intercooler to my 2.0 di mk4 van and if so what difference it will make?? cheers

    Can, but minimal difference.


    Vectra SRi 1.9 CDTi (150).

    Why do they make little difference on a DERV but loads on a petrol?

    when done on petrols, you generally have alot of other mods on it.

    Plus the 2.0Di isnt the most tuneable of the dervs anyway.

    The 2.0 Di doesn't have an intercooler as standard. I dont think it would make much difference if you fitted one unless you had the car remapped aswell. You would see good results from both, hope that helps.

    Depends what year the dti is 2003 onwards your see nowt and its hard to do due to the fuel pump.

    Edit - I dont think it make any difference to a N/A diesel as the air is normal tempreture inside anyway?

    The early 2.0 Di was the early engine, they had 2.0 Dti engine later. So the problem with remapping it shouldn't apply as it uses the older fuel pump.
