rubbish! MOT examiners discretion (and most will be ok whatever exhaust you have)

So does that mean places such as Courtenay, Regal, Thorney wont be allowed to sell their exhausts without an "off road only" disclaimer now?

its a grey area so best off speaking to VOSA and said tuners but as far as i can tell its one of these things where it still boils down to the testers discretion on the day

personally im not bothered - life goes on - im sure its relatively easy to find a fair yet not super strict tester when needs be

I think that's not right, what I do know is, is that if an exhaust is so many decibels then it can't be driven around after 11pm due to noise pollution. But I mean that's got to be ridiculously loud! The only concern to MOT testers are emissions!

We never bother with exhaust noise at work, blip the throttle and we're all happy
