    Coupe irmscher exhaust

AS above i just want to confirm that the irmscher exhaust for a coupe has longer tailpipes than the hatchback one? as ther is a few for the hatchback on ebay at the moment an one of a coupoe turbo and there does not seem to be much difference?

also if i am correct would this be the same backbox used for saloons and vans??

    Regards Joe

coupe pipes are longer than the hatchback, the turbo backbox will fit, BUT the sleeve needs to be changed to a flange.

the difference between turbo and NA models is the bore size. NA models being 2" and turbo models being 2.25" - the way the above post is worded seems to suggest that the turbo models are sleeve??? not necessarily (in fact ive never seen a sleeved turbo backbox yet)

the difference between coupe and hatch is that the tailpipes themselves are longer by 130mm approx. the hangers and other physical dimensions of the backbox will fit so theoretically you could fit a hatchback rear box but the tailpipes MAY be hidden somewhat under the bumper.

fitting a coupe turbo backbox to a NA coupe model that are both flange fitment may require a reducer of some sort to make up the difference in the bore size.

Yes, coupe, saloon and cabriolet share the same backboxes - off the top of my head cant recall about vans tho

Right there is a Irmy back box for sale off...ye u guesed it a van. 2.0dti?
it will obviously fit an estate car so am assumin if they are the same as the saloons the length of the tail pipes should be ok. But will it fit a petrol car>?
