    dell computer

    Just bought a dell computer had it 1 day and its broke , ive got a cd stuck in it and cant get it out . cant ring dell untill monday and get it sorted. anyone else had problems with dell or know about how they repair and how long it takes

    Is there a little hole at the front of the drive?

    Stick a straight length of strong wire or a cocktail stick and push in firmly - it'll eject the CD.

    no mate its one of them new touch screen ones where the disc goes in the side, no pin hole or anything the pc is not even showing that there is a cd inside

    hehe yep i tried that one but it wont take it in , the cd is stuck fast and not moving, when you go into my computer the cd is not even showing in the drive

    I'm guessing it's a slot drive, not a tray

    thats gay then

    can you not 'eject the drive' manually thro my comp like you can with the good old disc trays?
