new pics with grill and a change

just some changes, will wash it when i get a chance, different grill. after fitting this i decided to make my large cold feed larger, also tweeked my actuator a 1/4 turn as i have another 1.6 psi to be had so courtenays say. (on rollers end of june to be set up propper) jesus i turn TC off, wow! lol. all these tweeks have brought the car up to scratch. very torquey. new tophat, plugs, 2.2 airbox set up. see if it made a difference next month!

lol, well until i see a big one to buy, that will have to do. my 106gti years ago had a big scoop on it "ecosse forced induction kit" and it worked a treat, gave me 10bhp and 20lbs extra, and this was proven on courtenays dyno back then.

the grill is off ebay, £69 its a mattig one.

my car is courtenay stage 2 remap, blueflame 3"custom exhaust with sports cat. 3" from turbo back even thru joins. 2.2 airbox, 67mm tophat and boost pipe, universal intercooler. it has varied over the two years it been tuned, had 4 rolling roads.

    courtenays 2007 it made 256bhp/278lbs
courtenays 2008 it made 257bhp/273lbs (apexi filter)
Amd 2008 it made 241bhp/285lbs (but only had normal unleaded in!)
courtenays 2009 it made 249bhp/297lbs (new rollers) with a dumpvalve)
courtenays june???? tophat mod, no dumpvalve now, larger intake, 2.2 box.

tanks for your comments, i like to stick pics up when i change something as it can help other people when looking for mods and parts

can i just add the dumpvalve did not give me extra torque, new rolling road was a single roller, said to be more accurate. (old one was twin roller) it also now puts courtenays remaps up with regals torque. past few years i always thought regals gave you more torque, just shows rolling roads give you different figures.
