Removing rear disks --do i need to remove caliper carriers?

    Hi there,

I'm in the process of putting new disks and pads on the back of my 2.0 DI estate, with lucas calipers, and I can't manage to squeeze the disc past the caliper carrier

Do i need to remove caliper carriers? Or is it all in how you hold your tongue ? Also if I need to remove the caliper carrier what size torx socket thing will I need? And is it just the two bolts that will need taking out?

    Cheers,

    Tim
