In need of a serious wax!

    The car btw, not me.

What wax would be decent on a saphire black bmw? I spent a few hours giving it a good polish yesterday so it's looking good, but I've never waxed it before (other than when Graham detailed it about this time last year). So I'd like a wax that I can apply without too much work and build up the layers over the coming weeks.

Any recomendations, and where to buy etc etc. I know nothing about detailing other than basic washing!!!

Dodo supernatural and/or blue velvet would do the job imo. I use both on a dolphin grey A3.

I second that as he (byron) normally uses mine, my TT is black and this combo
works a treat, use some LIME PRIME first as this will remove and contaminents prior to waxing the car

on black pete's 53 seems to be the best performer.

colly 915 is more of a durable wax than a show wax (one for looks)

maybe dodo hard candy or purple haze might be better on black than blue velvet. or of course supernatural.

Pete's 53 is leagues ahead of waxes costing 3 times as much when it comes to finish on black. TBH, only thing I've seen get better results is Crystal Roack, but that's £500 a pot!!

Bye bye VXR Castle Combe Edition - because it's done more laps of Castle Combe than most Bergs have of the Ring
