once the wheel is off and the car secure on axle stands(make sure both sides are up on stands at the same time), wire brush the nuts as best you can on the old droplinks.

then using a 18 or 19mm spanner on the rear of the link and the same again on the nut undo them.

the fit new links, job done! if you have copper grease use it on the threads of the new links

Only 4 bolts, but I would recommend having an angle grinder and goggles ready if your car is not very new. New bolts are supplied with the new items anyway

Take care when tightening the new links up, not to damage the rubber boots.

As said above mate make sure both Sides are up at the same time it releases the tension on the ARB. I tried doing mine one at a time and it was a ball ache of EPIC PROPORTIONS not to mention like a sling shot waiting to go off almost picking a wrench out of my eye!

How much are the Drop links roughly and what mileage do you think they would want changing?

did they fit all the same size links on different models?

    Cheers

Mines has a slight rubbing sound from that area sometime, the cars only done 42,000 miles and went straight through its MOT last Month,

but they could still be slightly worn, I think I'm gunna change them anyway, does anyone have the part number?

    Thanks Dave

    was that each?

Just rang Euro Car Parts, they want £18.60+vat retail each, £10.95+vat trade,

Caffyns Vauxhall want £19.20+vat retail each and £14.64+vat each trade.
    part number 01924 369000

Cheaper than some site on ebay if you add their postage.

    Dave
