    Lowering 2hrs - nope 2 days lol

Well Keith Sri T text me this morning to say he had sorted out the 45mm lowering springs for my mk5.
So i manage to get home from work for 1pm (back in at 5)
So we get the rear end done in 30mins if that looking super

    Begin on the front !!

2004 plate the top bolts are rusted due to a crappy design feature from Vauxhall which allows water to sit and therefore rusting the bolts, 30mins or so we cant do it and the shock is spinning, nip down the local garage and the mchanic was more than helpful and sorted us out gave us an air line for Keiths Air Gun and also a few handy tools so we could loosen it off.

So back we go to mine we manage to get the driver side done (not pictured). 3.30pm (Balls) Keiths gotta pick his Kids up, so off he shoots leaving me to start the passenger side.

All is going great and then bang, a bolt snaps in half which holds the discs and arms in place

Keith comes back and then nips to Vauxhall, They havent got the bloody nut and bolt in have they, we can order one for tmrw morning !!

So We pack up and down tools at 4.45pm and Keith take me to work

Hopefully well get it done for tmrw as at present i have a lopsided low rider on the drive in bits

Plus side is, it does look pretty neat so far and maybe will be finished tmrw lol

the tops go rusty because of the heat generated by the shock and this causes condensation, pack them with grease and the problem will be sorted for next time.

    Looks nice so far.

Best thing to do when things go ar5e for t1t is to walk away and come back to it in a day or 2, amazing how much better things seem when you do!
