This is a re-post as I realised I posted in the wrong section - sorry mods!
Getting pretty sick of my Astra at the moment, one thing after another.
Woke up this morning to find that every few seconds, with no real pattern, my alarms making a few short sharp beeping noises. The number of beeps is also random.
Furthermore, it doesn't stop when I turn the alarm off, and even continues when I drive (I got some funny looks on my way to work this morning).
I've read a few posts about beeps being related to the need to replace the backup battery in the siren (or the siren), but nobody mentions it happening whilst they're driving. Is this still likely to be the fault, or is something else amiss do you think?
Thanks ever so much for any advice.
A very peeved Mark
