    cig lighter not working help needed

    hi, as above ^^^ it aint been working since ive had the car!! so lazy ive never done anything about until now.

    ive had it out today, changed the fuse no luck, so i changed the hole cig holder still no luck, so i tested it and there is no live coming from the clip thats plugged into the back!!! i tested the fuse box and thats fine, could someone please shed some light on with whats wrong or how i can fix this.

    The wire would have to be broke for it not to have power at the lighter but for the fuse to be ok and have power but I find this unlikely

    To check the obvious you are looking at fuse 36 and testing the black/yellow wire at the ciggy lighter? How do the fuse terminals look?

    mmm fuse 36 on my fuse box its saying 33

    Unsure why it wouldn't work now as the wire goes straight from the fuse to the ciggy lighter. I assume you are testing it with the ignition on?

    Yeah of course! I can't work it out myself I've tested the conection at the head point that goes into the back of the lighter and it's showing there ain't no live
