    Big bore exhaust question?

Is 3" exhaust too much for a 300 bhp LET?
My friends tell me I'm going overboard with this exhaust ... Sports Cat, 2 middle sections (want it to be quiet) and a Rear Silencer ... all straight through, all 3"
I personally think that NO exhaust is the best for turbo engines, so the bigger the better
So what do you think about this...

ive got 2.5inch straight through which is more than adiquit for up to 350-400 bhp then around 400 go bigger, from the turbo ive got 2.5" straight through to the back box but i will say it is f***ing loud and slight raspy witch is all good but iff you want quiet remove pre cat fit a sports cat (as the second cat) get a big center box and large back box u should have quiet ish exhaust then but still performance

I believe there's no point where an exhaust gets too big for a turbo engine, but that said you're probably not gaining anything from the 3" over a 2.5"/2.75". So it really depends on your friends definition of "too much".

I run a 3" system on mine. Really depends on what your future plans are for the car?

Thanks for your opinions mates! So now the question really is 2,5" or 3", and would I upgrade it more in the future so 3" would make sense...
