    exhaust question

    will the irmscher exhaust back box fit on a diesel or petrol or does it not matter? im not technically minded lol and wanted to make sure before i spent the pennies on one.

    depends on the car, exhaust fitment and pipe diamiter (spl) mate

    I was told they don't fit 8v. Not sure if that included diesel as well as petrol though

    not sure about all the details.. mines a 1.7dti MK4 eco4. the guy that is selling it had plans to put it on his mk4 van which was a diesel.

    is it a mk4? if so theres only two types one has a flange fitment the other a sleeve just stick your head under and have a gander. make sure its for the same shape as van coupe + estate ones will stick out a mile on a hatch

    well this guy has the backbox and i was going to get the rest of the exhaust made by a specialist.. for the time being just wanted to weld it on though..whats the difference between the sleeve and the flange so i can tell lol
