Want lower suspension... what to get?

Looking at lowering my car soon. Last week i was thinking of going for Jamex -40mm springs and maybe shocks too. But that was with standard alloys. Now that i have new alloys i'm thinking about 50/30 would be the right amount to lower. So i can either go for eibach sportlines or maybe raceland ciolovers. (Or anything else anyone could suggest may be better for that sort of price) Either one i'll be looking to lower around 50/30 anyway.

With the racelands, i'm still slightly put off by people having complaints about them, and also the fact that they're not a well known brand and are relatively new to the market.

With the eibachs, i'm just not sure what to do about shocks. I'm assuming i'd need new shocks as i've heard once you go below 40mm it's advisable? Would i just need to upgrade the shocks on the front? Could i leave standard rear shocks as it's only 30mm? Either way... what shocks can i go for?

    Thanks
    Sam

From what I have read about people having problems with the Racelands its been down to incorrect fitting and not having the tracking done after they have been fitted.

If it was me I would get the Racelands so you can set it to how you want.

Still quite tempted by the racelands but would like to find out about the eibachs too. What shocks could i go for? And would i need to upgrade both the front and rear shocks? Could i upgrade just the fronts as the rear is only 30mm or is that just pointless?

Also will i be ok to lower 50mm at the front and 30m at the rear with my wheels having ET44 (i think, maybe 45) and running 215/45R17 tyres?

Right i've decided to go 30mm lower both front and rear as this is an every day car and also my wheels stick out quite a bit at the front as it is so don't want to risk it rubbing by lowering to much.

Am i right in thinking i can leave standard shocks on as it's only -30mm?

What 30mm springs should/could i go for? I've seen the Eibach pro kit but are there any other options?

I've kept my original dampers and got 30mm Eibachs all round and its fine. Thats with GSI snowflakes on which are 215/40/17.
Pesonally i think it looks quality and i get no issues with speed bumps.

Of course there are other makes like Koni, Weitec, KW etc but Eibach are the best IMO.

Yeah think i will go with the eibachs. My wheels are ET44 wrapped in 215/45/17 tyres but it should still be ok as it's only 30mm.

Racelands seem to be pretty good.
