Windows 7 RC release. And Call of Duty 4.

Well, Win7 RC seems good. I like it. I like the XP Virtualisation too, bit like being at work really. lol.

Call of Duty 4 works, which is nice.

Punk buster however does not. It hates Win7 and gets me kicked constantly. There are loads of so called fixes out there on the net, but none have worked for me. Anyone here tried this????

give it a week or so as the new 7 rc only came out the other day (did get a mail from ms but cant remember exactly when) its only a beta so untill it becomes abit more common you'll have ot use your old os mate (assuming you did have a dual install)

tried the build 7044 32-bit version on my dell mini netbook, it was quick, very quick, but it took up a lot more disk space that i could afford to give (only having a 8gb SSD sucks sometimes).

Tempted to downlod the Releace Candidate and try it on my "proper laptop")

I want to see this new XP simulation feature, is it like VMWare?

You can download the RC1 now and choose whether you want to try the 32 bit of 64 bit edition for free, the licence doesn't run out till June 2010.

takes up about 14gb or so for the 64bit version with all my apps and such.

the xp virtualisation is ok, it works on some processers inc mine, but not all.
Also it only loads 256mb of ram and the virtual graphics card aint up to much. It works though, and its free, so it is good and will serve a purpose.
