    Can I Use 0-40w Oil in my coupe Turbo

    HI as the title say would I be okay using 0-40w oil castrol in my 2001 astra coupe turbo?

    some say its too thin. some people will say use gm 10/40. but i use this http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-1146-sil...e-engines.aspx been using it for a year now never lost a drop and no smoke etc

    castrol website recommends Edge 0W-30 is this right?

    try it but id say it will use it and your end up topping it up every month 10 40 is better to use imo

    0w-30 is to thin when hot! any, 0,5,10w-40 will be fine!

    vuaxhall use 5/30 in there 2006 onwards car.

    The only time a ZLET doesn't use or burn oil is when it is dead

    They recommended that for my coupe T this week, it was alot thinner than 10/40 i normally use.

    The chap @ vauxhall said it's what they use on the LEH
