I have the universal one off ebay- works fine up to and beyond 300bhp. Courtenay one is better quality but not worth the extra price in my opinion.

How easy are they to fit? I phoned Courtenay and mid point, both said you won't get as much power as you would with theres (surprise surprise) Courtenay said use front mount cooler as side mount are basically poo, Mid point said they use side mount and its better than front lol, Which is better?

I dont know how the side one can be better with no air hitting it to cool it

radiators are at the front so high pressure air hits it and cools the water down so i would think that the same happens to the air in the intercooler lol

but i would like to hear mid points answer, you should have asked them why the side one is better

They said something bout the front bumper being a certain shape which makes cold air feed to it so it just as good as fmic, they charge £549 for the smic and £100 fitting, bit dear that if it not as effective as fmic
