Question Difference between JY & JP rear springs?

    What's the difference?
I have JY on my 1.6 SXi mk4... would JP springs fit?
Mine have both snapped on the rear and I need to source 2 more, I have found a decent priced set of JP springs for £30... good price?? and will they fit??

    Thanks,
    Dean

Yes i read that... you put

"they will just be a reference to the model they originated on

the only contributing factor is the axle weights of each car

providing the axle weights of the car they are goin on match yours (or thereabouts) they will be fine

axle weights can be found on the black VIN sticker inside the drivers door shut
    1-xxxx
    2-xxxx

1 being front axle, 2 being rear

All springs fit all models so theres no problems in that respect - its just what the springs are rated at officially....

JP springs were fitted to 1.6 (16v) 1.8 & 2.2 coupe and hatch models with lowered suspension so you can rest assured they will fit"

I assume that they are the same springs then?
If the lass is selling JP springs, which came off her SRi... they will fit onto my SXi?
As both cars are 20mm lower standard aren't they?

    Thanks,
    Dean
