    sat nav advice

    Hello all,
I have to confess that at 40 years old what i know about ice could be written on the front of a postage stamp, and you'd still have room for the queens head!

So, a question for all the auto sparks / electrical techs.......

what double din unit do you recomeend to replace the CD30.

I'm not interested in changing existing speakers so need a unit that will still allow connection to all speakers ( 2008 astra cdti sri xp )

i want a good sat nav that doesn't need a disk to be inserted every time i change my route ( very important )

A hard drive would be nice for storing songs

a dvd player would be nice.

But most important i want to retain the original trip computer display with full use of the steering wheel controls, oh, i must be able to fit it into a surround that matches the exact colour of the existing silver trim.

    So, what do you recommend.

any advice, part numbers, suppliers, prices very much appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Jason

Pioneer double DIN unit with satnav and DVD

    Vehicle interface

    Radio Interface

Just as an example. It doesn't look like its got an internal memory but you can put a memory card in, maybe get a 4GB or 8GB with loads of music on it.

You won't have the internal hard drive for songs but i'd go for any double din kenwood nav system myself
