Help convincing my old man to buy a Zaffy GSI :)

My dad's spotted a few GSI's about for sale and he loves the look of them. The only thing holding him back is he might be out of work by next year. I've tried the whole "it looks and performs much better than your current car so just buy one" but it's that bit of doubt with redundancy.

    What else can I try?

    Ok that's a bit harsh

I wish he would buy one, I'd be choosing and handling the mods, he'd be emptying his wallet

A mazda 626. Uncomfy to drive but good boot space. Although as a family of 4 the rear seats of the zaffy would be taken out (7 seater am I right?).

You are correct they are 7 seaters... but you don't take the rear seats out, they fold flat into the floor... ready to be popped up at a moments notice should you need them and hiding away when you don't

Oh, and if you thing the 626 has a big boot, wait til you see a bus in 5 seater mode
