    12V Cigarette lighter not working

    Hi everyone,

The 12V cigarette lighter on my SRi 2.2 has stopped working.

I'm thinking it could be the fuse, where could I check?

    Thanks.

It could be the fuse, this will be in the boot or under the bonnet of a MK5 but I think you have a MK4 so it will be under the dash

    What fuse is it sorry?

If it isn't the fuse is it an easy replacement?

    Thanks

There's a diagram at the top of this section showing it's fuse number 36. Easy to replace the ciggy lighter if needed

as your sat in your drivers seat, you have the pocket/draw down to your right, undo the 4 screw clips and remove it. and the fuse tray is behind that.

the box will show all the fuse positions and diagrams. usualy a lighter is a blue fuse.
