Smile Thinking of Re-joining the Army.

Im thinking of joining back up to the army.I left back in 2005 after 3.5yrs as i had some personal problems.
Im 24 & im working in a warehouse for minimum wage & the company i work for is'nt the most stable. But due to the credit crunch there is'nt really many options for someone with my qualifications (just 5 crap GCSE's) & was thinking about maybe joining back up & getting myself a trade..was thinking about maybe a chef?

Really not sure what to do,but just feel like im going no-where & wanna try & do something with my life before its too late .
    What do u guys think?
Anyone got any advice or opinions?

    Cheers,
    Mike .

When you say 5 crap GCSE's what are they? I've seen so many guys signing back on now, the way jobs are going and the fact that half the time its easy good money with plenty of holidays. I would steer well clear of being a chef, unless you never want to be promoted and do something like getting a trade within the Engineers/Signals/REME.

    Mature student?

What about a career in sales? Don't need qualifications as such and earning potential is huge.

Woooaaaaa there tiger... Im in the RLC - Ammunition Technician, and it aint all bad! Try for the mechanics mate, the grades may only be a guideline, and if you put a bit of studying and Ace the barbtest they may look over it. Theres loads of options to help like library and GSCE bitesize which is online. Hope this helps.
