A How to in removing the whole dash?

Im looking at removing my whole dash and replaceing it with a trimmed one i have sourced on ebay

im fairly confedent in removing parts of my interior but the whole dash is a bit step , has anyone done this, any stanges and what to remove first etc

a how to would be great if anyone know it or maybe i can refer to good old haines manual .. only bit im not to sure about and a bit worried is removing the stearing wheel as its got the airbag in and also the passegner airbag ? is it a part of the dash or seperate behind it ?

    Regards

    Dave

You don't HAVE to do anything before removing the Airbags (that's straight from a Vauxhall mechanics mouth) but to be on the safe side disconnect your battery for 5 mins (i'd leave it longer).

    As for a How to.....
Not been done, but if you take pictures as you go, you can write one.
