any idea how this will sound

well basically im 18 year old and have a 1.6 astra sxi and i am about to install the following system and just wanted to know if any people know how this will sound becuase i would class my self as a bass junkie and hope this will not dissapoint me

    the system consists of

    focal polyglass componets

    two 12" l7 solobarics

subs going into a 5 cubic litre vented enclosure

three kicker amps ( kx200.2 for the components and one kx600.1 to each sub)

including dynmat in boot and doors

now this is my first system going into my first car

Havn't heard of them subs, but assuming you build the box to the correct measurements and tuned properly, along with everything wired correctly and the settings right, it should sound good.

Ahhh I know. Never heard them in the flesh, they have good reviews but an audio SQ guy I know says the sound of circular subs sound better. But that's not to say they won't sound good.

Get some progress pics along the way

The only way to find out how they'll sound is to go for it!

You would be better using a 5 cu ft enclosure, 5 litres will be a bit small.
Should certainly be loud with those subs/amps. Make sure the installers is fitting decent sized cable, I'd suggest you use 1/0 to minimize voltage drop & make sure they upgrade the battery earth as well.
Nice choice of front speakers as well, be sure to sound deaden your front doors as well as your boot to get the most from your system.

heya there i think ive made a mistake witht the box size then because the box is huge , its just a perfect fit for my mk4 with no space left behind so i think it is cu ft , and yes m8 the installers will be using 0 awg wiring and changing my battery to the one used in a astra deisel which i might upgrade wen i have some spare cash
