    Missfire on gsi after service ?

    Hi all,

    Took my gsi turbo for a full service yesterday and now it has a miss fire and its not running right,im wondering if it could be the sparkplugs they have put in?
    Any advice would be great please

    I would take it back i wouldnt mess as they have made the problem
    Could be plugs or leads

    Yes it will be plugs... Did it to mine just take it back..

    What plugs do you recommend for the gsi turbo please as i reckon they just shoved any in ?

    Where did you get it serviced?
    They should know what to put in if not id ask for money back and drop the oil on the car park

    Bloody kwikfit so its my own fault .Cost me £150 for full service..never going back again.

    yeah because thats not illegal or effort to do?!?!


    Ref the service mate, plugs for a GSi, are NGK - BRK6IEX or something very close to that code. £150 isn't a bad price for a full service if they got it right, either way, just take it back, explain and let them try and sort it out, it doesn't have leads so they can't mug you off with that. is the car modded or standard?
