    Unhappy Z18xe Radiator leaking

I noticed on 2 occasions today, a small damp patch under the Astra, only about the size of a beer mat, if that.

On inspection, the radiator is leaking slightly near the bottom o/s mount. Bloomin typical it does this to me today, as I'm going to the Lake District tomorrow.

I wouldnt normally use this stuff, but due to tomorrows journey, I poured some Radweld into the system. Its currently sitting with a piece of white paper under where the leak was and it seems to have stopped for now.

I know I need a new radiator in time, so it this a hard thing to change? Where is the best place to buy one from?

The other thing that worries me is that my car has A/c and the radiator for that sits just in front. Will it be possible to just move this out the way a bit and remove the engine radiator? Is it likely I will have to remove the front bumper too?

Thanks for any help in advance

the radiators a piece of cake to change, disconnect the battery, drain the coolant (little red valve on the bottom, drivers corner of the radiator) take the bumper off take the cross member/slam panel thing off, take the hoses off, unplug the wires, the radiator will seperate into 3 pieces the air con radiator, the coolant radiator and the fan. seperate them but try not to disturb the aircon pipes, either pull the radiator out through the engine bay (you'll have to remove the battery tray and air intake) or work it out of the front. you'll have to refill the coolant afterwards.

Thanks guys, I'll be off to the local tool shop today to get the pliers, then I'll order the rad - £45 is good compared to over £100 from VX!
