    Astra G VXR conversion

After reading the story in total vauxhall I really fancy having it done.

My current sri is N/A, what else would be needed? It says that for the 3k an engine, gearbox, and driveshafts are supplied and fitted. On top of this would an exhaust system be needed (Miltek or simlar). Any other chassis modifications?

Wouldn't want to do it right now, but maybe at the end of the year when my no claims rolls over.

    Cheers

i read that article today if i had the money i would be on my way up there to have it done Pukka car that is

As said i think upgraded brakes would be a good idea to help bring you to a stop

Just see what they have done to the car to give you an idea of what else is needed

yeh you need the wiring from a turbo astra, then the vxr engine, people need to wake up and see that the vxr engine is just a newer version than the let with better components all be it bar the crank, its the gear box thats the hard bit and thats only the right drive sharfts, its a simple swap over conversion. you can allways just keep the f23 with the vxr lump though.

Bye bye VXR Castle Combe Edition - because it's done more laps of Castle Combe than most Bergs have of the Ring
