    Let > Leh

    I have a Gsi

Had problems with it in the passed, 3 turbo's, afm's bcs's coilpack's etc

It's getting on a bit now, it's just ticked 90k miles

I'm still having problems with boost, it's a bit patchy on and off when accelerating, and the dump valve (Baileys dv26d) has decided to stop working

After readin Dave's Feature and Gareth day's son's I'm very tempted with the Idea of a VXR transplant.

Been weighing up the costs, and It doesnt seem too bad an idea.

    But whats all needed?

    LEH lump
    Shafts..?

LET Loom and ecu can remain yes?

So once fitted will I need it mapped or fit LET afm and Injectors?

Sorry for the long post, but seriously considering my options as I really dont wanna give up and go jap.

    Cheers

From what ive seen on here need someone to conferm this

the engine + gearbox (If using the M32 box you need shafts off a MK5)
    keep the ZLET loom
Mounts i think because of the gearbox

no need for a remap and keep the VXR standard AFM and injectors

DaveDempsey has a VXR engine in his MK4

Hope thats right for a starting point anyway

you keep the let loom, ecu, afm, injectors etc

if using the m32 you will need different shafts, gearbox mounts, cables and gearstick unit for inside the car.
