    Astra G clutch change

Hi all, I've got a 1.8 astra G SRi thats in need of having its clutch changed. Is it an easy job to do or is it a compete pain in the rear?

its quite a big job, the driveshafts have to be taken out, then either take the whole engine out of the top and seperate the gearbox from the block outside of the car, or remove the subframe and seperate the gearbox from the block still in the engine bay and take it out through the bottom.
once the gearbox is seperate from the block changing the clutch itself is simple. a new clutch will set you back around £70 and you'll need to refill the transmission oil.
