The 2 litre DTi is fitted with a timing chain isn't it???

As mentioned the 1.7 diesel is fitted with a cambelt.

    Which engine are you running?

My 1.7 DTI estate has done 116000 miles and I've no idea whether the cam belt's been done. It's got a full servie history so hoepfully it's OK, but I'm a bit parnoid now. How do I tell if it's been done?

hi mate, as stated in another post the 2.0dti has a chain and not a belt so it doesnt need to be changed, but i have been told by my local vaux dealer that they need some sort of nozzles that oil the chain changed incase they clog up.
I have'nt looked much more into this yet but mabey someone else on here will know.
