Hey guys, I'm a new Mk4 Astra owner, and I've decided I'm going to spend a bit of money and time keeping the beast looking good.
I've got a dark blue 5dr, and though it's totally stock atm I intend to jazz it up a little (not too OTT though )
As it's second hand, and a 53 plate it's looking a little shabbier than new, and I'm wondering if anyone has any pointers for making her look like new again?
My main issues are:
1. Minor bodywork scratches - little white ones. I've got Autoglym Paint Renovator which works reasonably on some scratches, but not quite well enough.
Anything I can do about it? And what's the best way to get rid of the micro scratches caused by the abrasive renovator?
2. Glass Scratches - caused presumably by bushes etc. Is there a good way of removing them, or at least making them less apparent?
3. Stone chip areas (also, the rear bumper chips) - I've used touch-up on the areas, but it still doesn't look right. Is it best to get these areas resprayed, or not really worth the cost?
I'll be making good use of the guides available here soon, I want to get the beast looking show-room quality
