Replacing space saver spare wheel with full size - which offset?

    Hi

Newbie here, so hope I give you the right info. Searched the forums but couldn't find this info anywhere.

Just got my first Astra, which is a 2005/54 Astra Life Estate 1.7 CDTi (80). Going well so far, but going to take some getting used to!
However, one thing I can't stand is the space saver spare wheel - hate these things as they are so dangerous. I went down to the local scrappies today to get a spare wheel, which I thought would be easy, but they didn't have any with the correct offset - ET35. What I wanted to know is should I wait until they get in a wheel with the correct offset or can I just go with something else that is close enough - the bloke suggested ET33. Frankly I don't know what any of this means, I'm just worried about will it be safe - saftey being the reason I'm getting rid of the space saver. Tyres are just the standard 195/65/15T.

Hope someone can help or point me in the right direction.
    Thanks in advance.
