    NGK Spark plugs

Are NGK BKR6EK plugs ok to put in a z20let. Ive had standard GM plugs and NGK BKR5EK's in and they both caused a misfire on idle?

get the iridiums code is something like bkr6iex

some people say tips have fallen off, 99% of people never have any problems with them

I had the annoying mis-fire and the irridiums cured it

Cheers fella. I have heard that the iridiums are supposed to give a slight gain in bhp and help smooth the throttle response too.
These plugs were given to me as a friend bought the wrong ones for his car so i was just wondering if i could put these in without it causing any issues?

Iridiums are the way to go...

just gap them correctly for the application and you will have no problems...I have always used them with no issues in all my cars..

As long as they are gapped correctly...

Unless you get 1.1's and they need to be gapped down to 0.8

I have heard people running 0.7 with high boost/low temp plugs
