    Hi All

Just got back from the diagnostic place

faults that came up was icv.he also mentioned it could be something to do with the coilpack as it hessitates to pull off at low revs.i checked the tb when he took the pipe off (spotless)

    idle weird

ICV being faulty may well cause hesitation in itself, doesn't necessarily mean the coil pack is faulty.

    What engine is it?

Just because the top of the throttle body is clean doesn't mean the bottom is.

The underside of my throttle body /\

Check and clean all breather hoses.

If its a 1.6 16v then I'd say check the egr valve as well.

Before you go tearing bits off the car, phone Wilnecote motors and get a new gasket for it! You should always replace your gaskets and not put the old ones back on. Should only cost you a £1. If they don't have any try Steve Thompsons in Lichfield they usually have everything I ever need instock.

    That be the jobby.

Oh and don't talk to the women on the desk she's as much use as a chocolate tea pot. Talk with Rob or the other bloke (mark I think his name is) as they both know their stuff and are extremely helpful.
