I'm posting for the first time in a while (busy with assignments and work ) and really need some advice. My Car PC has been on some anti-slip matting for a while now but I really need to secure it. I'm after some ideas....
It's got to go on the near-side (passenger-side, just in case i've got it wrong ) boot wall due to cable lengths and routing thus far. The PC case is a Voom PC Case (in black) and is reasonably heavy, similar to an amp i guess. I have no plans to build a false wall as I'm not too good with the fabricating and want to keep the boot OEM as possible.
Will the boot wall need strengthening at attachment points? Can the cubby hole (which is too short to slide the case into) provide anchor points for support straps? Could a PC case base be made from wood and attached to the boot wall to provide support?
Your comments and experience would be very much appreciated to determine the most practicle solution .
