    Mk4 cabby lowering

    Hi to all

I have an 02 cabby turbo and want to drop it a little, firstly, has anyone done this and to what effect? I seem to remeber that the rear springs have the letters QX on them, is this standard??

Secondly, I'm running on 18's and dont want any rubbing, looking at maybe Gmax with a 40mm drop??

Anyone thats done this or better please let me know?

    Thanks in advance

Hi mate, i just lowered mine this weekend on 30/30 eibach springs from lmf.

I'm running on 18 vxr snowflakes with 215/40/18 tyres all round and haven't noticed any major scrubbing yet.

Cheers mate, to be honest mate they were dead easy to fit, four bolts and the struts were off, quick compression, swap the springs and back together again. I found it longer finding somewhere to support the rear of the car to do the rears.

fronts were about 40 mins per side
rears were about the same total
