    Hard Wire Sat Nav

Hi - would like to drop a permanent cable down the back of my dash for the satnav. Just wondering what is my best option for running a cable too just right of the driver (see pic).

Also it would appear that my 12V sockets are not contolled by the ignition - ie are always on! I was thinking of using a some sort of connector (similar to car kit) and hooking into the power that way - any other suggestions??

    Cheers

How long after turning off the ignition are you checking the sockets?

IIRC, I think there is a delay of 30 mins before they turn off.
