    Clearing Brake Light Message?

Iv just replaced my brake light bulb after my centre console lcd display reliably informing me that it was out, although iv replaced the bulb and its all working fine, my display is still telling me its out?! Is there a way of cancelling this message at all? or was there something else i was supposed to do when swopping out the bulb? if it makes any difference iv got a mk4 coupe? cheers

mmm Sure its not break pads? I know its not but thought I had better ask lol.

I have never had a bulb go so I am not sure. But I would have thought it would have been automatic

Are both bulbs working ok now? Guessing they are.

Are they proper bulbs, or have you got LED type ones fitted?

no its still saying brake light, i know the messages that your all talking about tho but its definatly not that, i changed the bottom bulb of the cluster which i believe is the brake light, they are just standard bulbs and are both working ok which is wierd! ill take a pic of the message on the screen!
