    Petrol smell

A mate's got an 08 1.6 Astra. It's fine in the mornings but when he goes to it after a day at work there's a strong fuel smell. It seems to be temperature related as he's only noticed it recently now the weather's sort of improving.

    Any thoughts?

check for cracks to the petrol cap itself. i found a very small crack in mine that was hard to notice.
the smell was worst in warm weather with mine too.

theres a modified fuel cap out for them.
