    Smile CO2 sensor

STill keep getting light up on the dash so i took it to garage again and they said the fault codes were co2 sensor (2 of em) and some mixture code, so wanted to know if it was worth buying the sensor my self and try fitting it to save a bit of cash?

also any one know the Part number for it for a 02 1.8 zayy A and any one how easy/hard it would be to take off and fit a new one, any help would be great thanks all

if u can operate a spanner and have the power of your hands to unplug a connector then id say you're suitable for such a challenge!!!!

    front sensor is PN 9202575
    rear sensor is PN 9158718

Personally Ive always found that removing them and cleaning them with either carb cleaner or petrol - together with the area inside the pipe where they enter always helps - bit of wd40 on the elec plug end - reset the ECU by unplugging the 2 big plugs on the ECU whilst u clean the lambdas is defo worth a shot.

Last resort is as u say replace them

Ring em up and order both together and they will knock some money off - they have in the past

    Good luck

I believe 1 is on the exhaust manifold and 1 is on the downpipe.

And the ECU is literally on the right hand side of the engine as you stand in front of the car looking into the engine bay... has 2 big oblong plugs going into it, you can't miss it
